The initial treatment I had written was meant to be a follow up from Interflora's 2015-2016 high-school love story, from a queer-friendly perspective and was later modified to the finalised narrative, approved by the client and filmed shortly after I had completed the duration of my internship at the agency.
 

The story was inspired by life events which came about as a result of having friends and loved ones who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Such a narrative isn't easily come by from individuals in closed circles that rarely venture beyond what is familiar to them, which made for a refreshing take on a popular narrative. While the love-traingle scenario remained the same, the environment and period in which it took place was adapted to the televised vision.

I am grateful for my time at Brandhouse as I was able to learn a great deal from the in-house teams and was received with a lot of warmth, compassion and kindness from fellow Interns and agency professionals. However, denying or downplaying my contribution to an award-winning advert would mean compromising my truth and being a little too generous to those who claim it as their own which diminishes the honest and sincere insight that brought it to life - regardless which higher-up 'can't recall' my contribution.

While the role predominantly focused on creating internal and external Presentation and Marketing content, a myriad of software programmes were used to help visualise data and create content.
